THE J DIFFERENCE
A latency spike can be interpreted alongside a recent deployment, an earlier Verify finding, a configuration change, a similar historical event or an open Security investigation. The raw metric is the same; the available context is not.
MODULAR BY DESIGN
JAlert is an optional J OS capability, not a hard dependency. It can run standalone, alongside JSecurity, or inside a wider J environment. At startup it can discover other available J packages and integrate through defined interfaces without making those packages dependent on JAlert.
Continuous operational monitoring and notification without requiring JSecurity.
JSecurity can analyse security information from other sources without requiring JAlert.
JAlert supplies continuous observation while Security supplies security analysis and investigation.
COMPETITIVE POSITION
JAlert is intentionally positioned as a modular sensory layer for J. Large observability suites can remain sources of telemetry. Alert's advantage is that operational signals can enter the same persistentJ cognitive environment used by J's memory, knowledge, attention and investigations, while remaining deployable as a small independent component.
